The Resurrection - 1972 mark twain rebuild

I found an old mark twain at one of my friend’s house about 2 years ago and the trailer had sunk in the ground with 4 flat tires. It took us about 8 hours to get it out in the first day. The first night at about 11 o’clock we ripped the floor out and gutted the inside. Took out all the rotted sidewalls, and the plants growing in them. I thought it was a good idea at the time to spend 100$ on the boat. We got the engine to run for about 100$ worth of parts and some redneck engineering.

Blew out the fuel lines, emptied the gas tank, got some new fuel line because the old was breaking, fuel filter, spark plugs, spark plug wires, cap, rotor, carburetor overhaul kit, 2 bangs on the starter and she fired right up! Once it ran we had a few problems with the impeller, so we replaced that and took it out on her first experience on the water since 95. Ran great and on the way home the engine fell threw the motor mount.  We lifted the engine up and shaved down an 8x8 to fit . We then put the floor in witch is 3/4 inch, marine wood off of an old pontoon boat. But early in the day I noticed a small leak in the back transom that we had to fix. So we pulled the engine and lower unit to fix it .
