Well it is nice to know that I will be with fellow Twainers at the Mark Twain Lake this year. Should be back out in a couple weeks. Not restored of course, but running. I have a lot of work to do before she is restored.

I, too, am from St Louis.

Hey scotr3,

I grew up on Lake Decatur, learned boating and water skiing there as a kid. Have always loved that lake even though it was pretty nasty.  Heard they have cleaned it up alittle.
I\'ll actually be there this weekend BBQ with aunt and uncle at there lake house there, they are maybe a block from the DAV.
WOW, memories of playing pool at the DAV. Might have to go down there for a beer.

Another from St. Louis......are we seeing a trend here? It would be cool if we could get something up at MT lake. Do they have camping facilities at the lake? I\'ve never been there. I\'m mostly up on the river north of St. Charles.  ???
